Arena Training Centre is a supporting provider on the government register of Apprentice Training Providers, working in partnership with JTL and The Sheffield College. For a number of years now, we have provided support with delivery of technical training and portfolios in the provision of Apprenticeships in the Yorkshire region and nationally.
Out team of lecturers and assessors stand out in the education world, balancing a commitment to lecturing whilst at the same time remaining ‘on the tools’ running their own successful electrical contracting businesses as members of CPS schemes such as NICEIC & NAPIT.
This means apprentices are taught by experienced lecturers with current experience of design, installation and inspection & testing.
Our primary provider partners offer training in blocks, day release or even custom dates at our dedicated and specialist electrical training centre in Sheffield. Apprentices training on our premises experience a high standard of technical training and enjoy the support from teams of dedicated staff working across both the primary and supporting provider assisting them in all aspects of their education.

Employer and learner needs are foremost in the provision we offer and given that many of our lecturers and assessors are still ‘on the tools’ and working strategically with bodies such as BPEC, City and Guilds, TESP, NET and the IET, we fully understand the difficulties facing employers of all sizes and are able to support them in selection, recruitment and training of staff.
Arena Training Centre in Sheffield is easily accessible, has off road parking and good transport and network links for learners attending from the surrounding areas and regions. We also have our own end point assessment centre, Sheffield Meadowhall AM2 Centre, which is highly regarded and benefits from three of the friendliest assessors you could hope to meet. Arena Training Centre also boasts some impressive progress data so you can be confident that if you have the right attitude, attend consistently and work with us to develop your learning you will make exceptional progress.
