City & Guilds 2391-51 Level 3 Award in the Periodic Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations.
This qualification is a requirement for approved electrical installation contractors who have previously passed the Initial Verification exams.
There is also a combined course (C&G 2391-52)
The course focuses on carrying out Periodic Inspections and completing Condition Reports.
The course is delivered as a three day block., only for those who already have the Initial Verification qualification.
The duration of the course is 24 hours and the delivery of the course may be tailored to meet the clients' requirements.
Aimed at engineers and electricians involved in the periodic inspection, testing and certification of electrical systems, the course is designed to familiarise them with the latest version of Guidance Note Three and practical methods of testing.
EAL and C&G candidates are required to sit an on-screen, open book examination based on Guidance note 3. This is in the evening on the following week.
C&G candidates will also sit classroom assessment during the course.
There is also a final practical assessment of two and a half hours duration with a qualified assessor.
The costs include practical assessments and examination entry fees.
Please Note! For those already experienced in Inspection and Testing we are offering a "combined" course which will give BOTH qualifications for Initial Verification and Periodic Inspection in the same week. (Monday to Friday) The cost of this Combined Course is £995 plus VAT.
