The course is designed as a taster for those interested in installing electrical equipment in Domestic Premises.
The programme is designed for those with little or no Electrical Installation experience, who are thinking of a career change. The course is delivered over a one week period. Successful candidates will receive a Certificate of Training which would allow progression onto other recognised courses to become a Domestic Electrical Installer.
Being mainly practical in content, this course shows you how to wire and connect a range of domestic circuits into a consumer unit (fuse board), including lighting and switching, socket-outlets, cookers, immersion heaters and showers. At the end of the week you will be completing a full electrical installation in a booth.
The cost includes lunch, course notes and all materials.
Duration: 1 Week Course (includes lunch).
Day and time of course: Monday – Friday 9am – 4.30pm.
Final registration date: 1 week before course begins.
