This essential course is for electricians wishing to be up to date with BS 7671.


This qualification is for electricians who wish to become familiar with the layout, content and use of the wiring regulations.


  1. •The course is delivered on one day or 3 consecutive Thursday evenings, with some prior reading

  2. •The duration of the course is 10 hours and the delivery of the course may be tailored to meet the clients’ requirements.

  3. •Aimed at practicing electricians with a previous Wiring Regulations qualification obtained after 2001

  4. eg City & Guilds 2381 or 2330.

  5. •Candidates are required to sit a one hour 30 item multi-choice examination at the end of the course. 

  6. This is an open-book test based upon BS 7671:January 2008. 


The costs include examination fees and comprehensive course notes from the NICEIC based upon the 17th Edition
